About Us
A family workshop dedicated to the art of marble carving
Founded in 1995 in Kishangarh, Rajasthan — the Marble City of India — JK Handicrafts has spent 30 years hand-carving idols, pooja murtis and home temples for families and temples across India.
Every piece is carved by hand by our artisans, from rough stone to the finished, polished murti — a process that can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks depending on size and detail.
Today we serve customers across India and take on export and bulk orders for overseas buyers, temples, event decorators and gifting companies — while keeping the same hand-finished quality that started this workshop.

Rooted in Vedic tradition
In Hindu tradition, any new undertaking begins with an invocation to Lord Ganesh, remover of obstacles — which is why his murti is often the first piece an artisan learns to carve, and the first idol a family brings home. Lakshmi Mata, goddess of prosperity, is invoked alongside him for wealth and well-being. Our work — and the idols we carve — follow that same order.
