Buying Guide
Everything to know before you order a marble murti
Choosing the right size, how delivery and installation work, caring for your Makrana marble, and answers to the questions we hear most at our Kishangarh workshop.
Temple size guide
A mandir should feel present but not crowd the room. These are the sizes we recommend most often — every piece can also be made to custom measurements.
2 ft
From ₹15,300
Apartments & compact flats
Tabletop or wall-mounted mandir. Fits a shelf, side table or kitchen corner. Easiest to relocate.
3 ft
From ₹38,250
2–3 BHK homes
Our most-ordered size. Floor-standing, comfortable for daily pooja by one or two people.
4 ft
From ₹45,000
Large living rooms & dedicated pooja rooms
Full presence with carved pillars and dome. Needs about 4 × 2 ft of floor space.
5–6 ft
Custom quote
Villas, bungalows & farmhouses
Made to measure with gopuram or open-pavilion styles. Site measurement recommended.
8 ft +

Community halls & temples
Architectural scale — pillars, arches and jaali panels engineered as a set. Our team installs on site.
Tip: keep the mandir in the north-east of the home where possible. Measure your available wall width and ceiling height before enquiring; our team confirms exact dimensions with a drawing before carving begins.
How big is a murti, really?
Murti sizes are quoted in inches of height. Here's each standard size next to a 5′6″ person.

Delivery & installation
We deliver across India from our workshop in Madanganj-Kishangarh, Rajasthan. Every order follows the same four steps.
Confirmation & drawing
We confirm size, stone and design on WhatsApp with a sketch or photo before any carving begins. An advance (30–50%) books your slot.
Carving & updates
Your piece is hand-carved in our Kishangarh workshop. We send photo and video updates at every major stage.
Packing & transport
Wooden crating with foam lining, loaded and shipped with transit insurance. Tracking shared on dispatch.
Delivery & installation
Doorstep delivery pan-India. For temples 3 ft and above, our team assembles and installs on site.
Typical timelines: ready pieces ship within 5–7 days; made-to-order murtis take 3–6 weeks; full home temples 6–10 weeks depending on carving detail. Transit insurance covers every shipment.
Caring for your marble
Makrana marble lasts generations with very little care. Four simple habits keep it bright — full care guide.
Dust dry, wipe damp
A soft dry cloth daily; a lightly damp cloth weekly. Dry immediately — standing water can dull the polish.
No acids or harsh cleaners
Never use vinegar, lemon, bleach or bathroom cleaners on marble. Plain water with a drop of mild soap is enough.
Mind haldi, kumkum & oil
Wipe spills promptly — turmeric and oil can stain if left overnight. A tray under diyas protects the base.
Re-polish every few years
A light professional re-polish every 4–5 years restores the original shine. We offer this service for our pieces.
Frequently asked questions
Can you customise a design — size, deity, or carving pattern?
Yes, everything we make is carved to order. Share a photo or reference on WhatsApp and we send a drawing and quote. Custom sizes, deities, jaali patterns and painted finishes are all possible.
How long will my order take?
Ready pieces ship in 5–7 days. Made-to-order murtis take 3–6 weeks; complete home temples 6–10 weeks depending on carving detail. We confirm a date before you book.
How does payment work?
An advance of 30–50% to begin work, balance before dispatch. We accept UPI, bank transfer and cash at the workshop. You receive photo proof of your finished piece before the final payment.
What if the piece is damaged in transit?
Every shipment is crated in wood with foam lining and insured. In the rare case of damage, we repair or re-make the piece at no cost.
What decides the price?
Stone type (Makrana, Vietnam, Italian), size, and carving detail. Painted and gold-leaf finishes add to the base price. The catalogue shows starting prices; your exact quote depends on these choices.
Can you make a murti or bust from a photograph?
Yes — our sculptors make custom portrait busts and personalised murtis from clear photographs. Allow 6–8 weeks for portrait work.
Is installation included?
For temples 3 ft and above, on-site assembly and installation by our team is included within Rajasthan and available pan-India at actual travel cost. Smaller pieces arrive ready to place.
Which marble is best for a home temple?
Makrana White is the classic choice — dense, bright and ages beautifully (it's the Taj Mahal stone). Vietnam White is a more economical alternative with a similar look. We send stone samples on request.
